Hannah Garden-Monheit

Hannah is a Senior Advisor at the Institute for Responsive Government. She formerly served in the Biden-Harris Administration as Director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission and at the White House as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director for Competition Council Policy. She also previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to the CARES Act Congressional Oversight Commission, as a Supreme Court and appellate attorney in private practice, and as a policy advisor in the Iowa Statehouse. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and Grinnell College. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two young sons.
